Message by Mr. T. V. Narendran

“The contribution of the Indian Steel Industry has helped us take significant strides towards our vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat. Government of India’s focus on infrastructure spending, programs like production linked incentive scheme and Gatishakti are helping the industry and its stakeholders realise the Vision of 300 Million Tons steel production capacity by the end of the decade.

We are fully cognizant of the need to promote circular economy and decarbonisation, and I am pleased to note that the theme of this year’s Conclave reflects this.

I welcome all delegates and look forward to fruitful deliberations on innovative ideas and create a road map for a more sustainable future.

My best wishes to the Indian Steel Association for the success of ISA Steel Conclave 2023.

Mr. T. V. Narendran
CEO & Managing Director, Tata Steel Limited

Message by Mr. Naveen Jindal

“It's my pleasure to warmly welcome you to the 4th edition of the ISA steel conclave 2023.

This year's theme, "Steel shaping the sustainable future", is relevant as steel has been the backbone of industrial progress for centuries and is playing a pivotal role today in building a more sustainable world.

Our commitment to sustainability is unwavering. We, at JSP, have already invested in sustainable and innovative cutting edge technologies, like our CGP based DRI plant at Angul, Odisha, to reduce emissions and optimize resource usage.

This conclave is a testament to Indian Steel Industry’s commitment to progress and sustainable practices. I look forward to inspiring discussions and progressive ideation that will create a roadmap for a more sustainable future.
